Portland's Domino Competition and Other Sports News

Portland Domino competition played its final match of the first round on Sunday February 3, 2013, with the second round of matches started on February 10, 2013. 

 

This has been a riveting first round seeing the likes of Lion Heart out of Breast works, Unique Strikers from Orange Bay, Eastern Strikers from Prospect (also the defending champions), Black Acid from Boundbrook, Aqua United out of Manchaniel, Commodores from Fruitful vale and Determine from Mt Pleasant are advancing to the second round of the competition. 

We will take you through the competition to the awards ceremony, stay tuned, more to come as we follow the second round.

 

In other sports news…… 

As the students prepare for G-sat, we wait patiently for the rivalry of the competitions to be shared between 40 participating schools as they participate in the National football and Netball competitions slated to start in March.

Also coming on stream will be the Business house football league, cheerleading competition as well as Tow Tow’s little league football, April – May.  Exciting times ahead, please stay tuned
